Microblading is a tattoo technique used to create the illusion of fuller brows. Instead of using a tattoo machine, I use a little handheld tool to manually draw hair strokes into the skin. Microblading is not ideal for all skin types. Skin with lots of oil and large pores typically do not hold microblading well.
Powder brows are done with a tattoo machine that creates pixilated dots to mimic powder filled brows with no harsh front or outline. This shading technique is minimally invasive, lasts longer and can be buildable from light to dark. It is also ideal for almost all skin types.
Combo brows are a combination of microblading and powder brows. Microblading hair-strokes are placed with a manual tool towards the head of the brow and sometimes around the entire border of the brow to give the brow a natural look after being filled with shading via the powder technique.

As a precaution, Arch prefers not to perform permanent make up on pregnant or nursing women, due to the lack of research into how the pigments and/or numbing products may affect baby. The fluctuation of hormones during pregnancy and nursing may also cause the pigment to heal into undesirable shades.

Luckily, the longevity of permanent makeup is considerable. On average, permanent makeup can last for up to two to three years, and that's two to three years of a breezy daily beauty routine!
Gradual fading can be expected for all permanent cosmetic procedures. This varies among people and is dependent on the specific shade used, personal care routine and sun exposure.
Periodic touchups may be recommended to maintain the desired look. Frequency of touchups depends on a number of factors including skin type and tone, pigment selection, lifestyle (sun exposure, smoking, etc.), your overall health, as well as the use of acidic and/or brightening skin care products and skin care services.

The goal is to create the most natural looking brow for your face. To do that we will need to take measurements of your eyes, nose, brow bones, brow hairs, or lack of. With that information we can create a brow shape and thickness natural to your unique face. We go over this together in much detail at your appointment, so that you feel comfortable and confident before proceeding with your brow transformation.
